Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

Yes - a card is required to start your trial. You won't be charged until your 30 days are up, and you can cancel any time before then.

What happens after the 30-day trial?

We'll ask you to choose a plan. If you do nothing, your account pauses and no bookings can be taken - we'll never surprise-charge you.

Can I switch between Solo and Team plans?

Yes, upgrade or downgrade any time from your account settings. Billing adjusts at your next renewal.

Is there really zero commission?

Yes. You pay the flat monthly or annual fee and keep every penny from every booking. No hidden percentage, no per-booking fee.

How does the annual saving work?

Solo annual is £120 (£10/mo effective) versus £14/mo monthly - saving £48/year. Team annual is £240 (£20/mo effective) versus £25/mo monthly - saving £60/year.

What about SMS costs?

24-hour reminder texts are included in your plan at no extra cost. No SMS overage charges ever.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel from your account settings and your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. No lock-in, no penalty.

I'm on Fresha - how hard is it to switch?

Paste your Fresha profile URL (or your price list as text) into Calenya. Our AI imports all your services, prices, and durations in about 30 seconds.

Can I require a deposit when clients book?

Yes. Go to Settings, connect your Stripe account (takes a few minutes), then enable deposits. Set a fixed amount (e.g. £10) or a percentage of the service price. You can apply deposits to all services or specific ones only. The deposit is paid by card at booking time and goes straight to your bank - Calenya takes no cut. Stripe deducts their standard processing fee (1.5% + 20p for UK cards).
